Marshall Fleet Solutions Appoints First Ever Tail Lift Director

As part of the company’s planned expansion programme, Cold Chain Federation member Marshall Fleet Solutions has appointed its first ever Tail Lift Director to oversee the growth and development of the company’s well-established tail lift division.

Industry expert Sarah-Jane Whitmore has joined Marshall Fleet Solutions in this newly created position, reporting directly to managing director, Mark Howell.

“The arrival of Sarah-Jane here at MFS is a really exciting development for the company. Not only is she our first ever main Board Director for Tail Lift, but her ambitions for the division reflects MFS’s overall determination to further build our tail lift division into the U.K.’s premier tail lift business. Her undoubted expertise, drive and determination will push the MFS tail lift operation to incredible new levels in 2021 and beyond,” said Mark Howell, managing director, Marshall Fleet Solutions.

With a long-established career in the tail lift industry that began in 2000, Sarah-Jane Whitmore brings a wealth of relevant industry expertise to Marshall Fleet Solutions. Previously, she has held senior management positions at Stone Hardy, where she spent 15 years and was latterly their Contracts Director, before joining Alfa Tail Lifts as Managing Director.

MFS’s Tail Lift Division operates on a UK-wide basis through five regional depots, supported by a nationwide team of mobile service engineers, providing a full range of breakdown, repair and maintenance services covering tail lift, lifting deck and shutter doors. In addition, MFS handles LOLER examinations, STE’s, weight testing on site together with diagnostics, insurance assessments and commercial works.
