FareShare UK – Call for Support

Like many organisations, food redistribution charity FareShare is feeling the pinch of driver shortages and increased pallet network volumes, and are subsequently struggling to transport all of the food that has been made available to them. As a result, the thousands of charities that rely on FareShare’s support are receiving less food than normal, and can offer fewer services to the hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries within their communities.

FareShare needs hauliers to support the collection and delivery of hundreds of pallets of food throughout the ongoing period of UK transport challenges.

FareShare require assistance across all temperature regimes. They operate nationally with a need to collect a variety of volumes, ranging from a solitary pallet to a full load from a single location to be delivered across 30 distinct warehouses around the country. For complete coverage, they require a national trunking network, however, they would also welcome conversations with regional providers during this difficult time.
