WINCANTON WINS DISTRIBUTION CONTRACT FROM MORRISONS

Cold Chain Federation member Wincanton has a new contract from supermarket chain Morrisons.

The contract is for distribution from three of Morrisons’ warehouses to its stores.

The five-year contract will see Wincanton manage all transport and related operations from the three locations.

It will also be responsible for vehicle maintenance through its fleet management business at five Morrisons’ sites.

Adrian Colman, chief executive, Wincanton said: “This significant new contract with Morrisons further underlines our position as a leading logistics provider in the grocery retail market.”
