5 Minutes with Cold Chain Federation Member Styne Industrial Refrigeration

Styne Refrigeration joined us in October last year, they produce low energy refrigeration systems that cut energy and maintenance costs as well as carbon emissions and are sole UK importers of Zudek advanced ammonia absorption refrigeration units. Here we find out who is our main contact and why they joined the Federation.

QWho is the main person for members to contact?

The main person to contact at Styne Industrial refrigeration  is Ivan Zudek who is the General Manager.

Q. What do they do and contact details?

Since I  joined Zudek in 2016, I was hoping to work in the UK again and sell a “Zudek” unit to the UK market and here we are, five years later, with me joining Styne industrial refrigeration as General Manager. Coming to the UK to work in a great position with great people. On the 18th of March, we sold the first unit for C&K meats and certainly, we will not stop here. QWhy is it important to be a part of the Cold Chain Federation?

We are proud to be a cold chain federation member as our goals are aligned.  Our business is not all about making money. It is how to help companies save electricity, become more sustainable, and improve their production processes. The cold chain is responsible for sustaining food supply and in turn reducing food waste. Companies are the building block of the world society. They create jobs, opportunity and innovation, helping the world move forward. Cold chain are also invaluable , keeping us up to date with the latest news and legislation.

Q. What are Styne’s aspirations for the industry?

Today its finally possible to create subzero cold without the need for electric energy. Thanks to combined cold heat and power systems and our water/ammonia-based absorbers, we can generate cold quickly and economically. Our solutions are present in the international markets and our aspiration is to now introduce our innovative, environmental-friendly and low energy consumption products to the UK market. Green is a trend, sustainability is a mindset.
