Webfleet charts path to sustainable transport with ‘Fleet Decarbonisation Live’

Cold Chain Federation member Webfleet, Bridgestone’s globally trusted fleet management platform, will play host to a landmark event this summer, designed to help redefine the role of commercial fleets in today’s green transport revolution.

Staged at Bridgestone HQ in the heart of Royal Leamington Spa, Fleet Decarbonisation Live – on Monday June 3, 12.30pm to 4.00pm – will act as a catalyst for change, offering insights, connections and tools to help businesses navigate the path to sustainability.

The event will showcase new electric vehicle (EV) solutions, government initiatives and real-world journeys towards fleet decarbonisation. It will also offer an opportunity for delegates to engage with a panel of esteemed industry experts and peers.

Moderated by John Curtis of community resource the EV Café, the event will feature a dynamic live panel discussion in a BBC Question Time-style format.

Panel experts including Jamie Fretwell from Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK, Sam Clarke from GRIDSERVE Sustainable Energy, S-J Mitchell of OVO Energy and Richard Parker of Webfleet will dive deep into topics that will resonate with fleet operators looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

The interactive setup is designed to ensure participants leave with a clearer vision and practical steps for their decarbonisation journey.

“At this crucial juncture for the transport industry, Fleet Decarbonisation Live will provide the knowledge and tools needed for fleets to meaningfully embrace sustainability,” said Beverley Wise, Webfleet Regional Director for Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.

“Attendees are encouraged to network, engage in live debates and pose questions, benefiting from the collective wisdom of a community united by a common goal.

“Through the panel discussions, the event amalgamates its aims of inspiring fleet operators, fostering collaboration, introducing new EV solutions and sharing success stories and data insights for cost-effective electrification.”

John Curtis shared Beverley enthusiasm.

“This event symbolises our collective drive towards a more sustainable future,” he added.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for fleet operators to gather insights, share experiences and lead the fleet decarbonisation charge.”
