First Series and Phase Change Solutions (PCS) Partner to Support UK’s Waste Reduction Goals with Apollo™ Panels
December 4th, 2023 London and Greensboro — First Series, an innovative company focused on solving unmet needs in healthcare and associated markets, and Phase Change Solutions (PCS), a leading smart materials company, announce a partnership to commercialize sustainable solutions for the UK refrigeration market.
First Series will distribute BioPCM®-based Apollo™ Panels manufactured by PCS, to eliminate medicine waste and lower the carbon footprint of the healthcare industry. In addition to reducing waste, the Apollo™ Panels also reduce energy consumption in refrigerators. The Apollo™ Panel provides up to 7 additional hours of temperature protection during power outages and/or mechanical failures. In addition, using Apollo™ Panels reduces maintenance on refrigeration equipment while increasing product life cycle.
