Cold Chain Federation Reveals Speakers for Climate Summit
The Cold Chain Federation will host a pioneering Cold Chain Climate Summit in March 2023, the first event of its type to explore the key issues, challenges, and opportunities for the cold chain in responding to and preparing for net zero.
The Summit will take place on 15 March 2023 at The Slate, Warwick Conferences, featuring speakers and panelists drawn from across the cold chain industry, the Department for Transport, and leaders in logistics academia. Keynote speeches will be delivered by Claire Walters (Regional Vice President at Lineage Logistics), Professor Alan McKinnon (Kuehne Logistics University) and Dr Leyla Sayin (The Centre for Sustainable Cooling).
Aimed at people managing the climate, sustainability, and energy efficiency programmes within cold chain businesses, the Summit will include data, analysis, and debate about the leading edge issues for businesses in cold storage and temperature-controlled distribution.
The Summit will be followed by a networking lunch and the inaugural Cold Chain Sustainability Awards, recognising businesses and individuals who are leading the way towards a more sustainable UK cold storage and temperature controlled transport sector.
All Cold Chain Federation member companies are entitled to one free ticket, additional tickets can be purchased at £100 +VAT. Email info@coldchainfed.org.uk to reserve your places.
