Have Your Say: Join the CCF Board

We have extensively reviewed all of the CCF governance structures, which I will take you through at the upcoming AGM.

In order to retain the stability of the current CCF Board and its experience, we will be putting 4 current members up for re-election this year. As we move forward with an enhanced governance structure it is right that we retain experience but at the same time provide an opportunity for new Board members so that fresh debate and representation of the Federation and sector is maintained. Up for re-election this year are 3 Operator member positions and 1 Innovator (formerly known as Associate) member position. All incumbent Board members have expressed their wish to be re-nominated for another 3-year term. As part of the governance review, we have also created a position for a new Innovator member to join the Board.

Therefore, we are now accepting expressions of interest for nominees from individuals who wish to be considered for election to the CCF Board of Directors.

To qualify as a nominee for a CCF Board Member position, your company must be a full CCF member, and you will be a senior figure within the organisation. You and your company will have substantial cold chain experience and be able to attend 3 meetings per year whilst acting as an ambassador for the Federation at all times. The full responsibilities of CCF Board members are set out within the documents which can be provided if you are interested in a nomination.

Once I have your expression of interest, I will put you forward for nomination to the current CCF Board, before the 5 positions (4 existing and 1 Innovator member vacancy) are ratified at the AGM in May.
