We were delighted when Pluss Advanced Technologies joined the Federation at the beginning of this year. Pluss Advanced Technologies provides sustainable temperature-controlled solutions, we had a 5 minute chat with Sonal to find out more about them and what they do for the cold chain.

Q. Why is it important to be a part of the Cold Chain Federation?

Phase Change Materials(PCM) are one of the most effective mediums of thermal energy storage and have a very wide scope of applications whether it is building construction, cold-chain storage, solar energy storage, temperature-controlled packaging for food, pharmaceuticals etc. It is important for Pluss to be a part of the Federation, because the cold-chain industry can get a direct cost and energy savings by using PCMs, making it easier to reach net-zero in the near future.

Q. What are Pluss Advanced Technologies aspirations for the industry?

PCMs have been around for decades but the cold-chain industry is yet to utilize its benefits. We want to partner with organizations across the value chain and support them in building innovative and sustainable solutions by incorporating PCMs. We work in close partnership with our clients and R&D team to help them build products that either add value and/or save energy.
