5 Minutes with Cold Chain Federation Member CREST
CREST is an expert arm of Stancold, a multidisciplinary industry leader in temperature-controlled storage of over 75 years. CREST specialises in pharma, medical, and high-end manufacturing applications. They have been a member of the Federation since 2006 and we thought it was time to find out a bit more information about them and their Business Development Director.
Q. Who is the main person for members to contact?
Mark Kendrick, the Business Development Director for CREST.
Q. What do they do and contact details?
Mark oversees all projects in Stancold’s pharmaceutical division. Over the course of his 17 years at Stancold’s wide family of CREST and Gilcrest, he has developed an extensive library of knowledge in the design and build of cleanroom envelopes, cold storage, and fire walls, which he uses to advise and aid clients.
Mark’s dedication and ability to go above and beyond for CREST’s existing and new clients has made him a household name within the industry over the past decade. He builds long-lasting relationships with clients while assisting in the process of identifying coldstore project requirements and Good Manufacturing/Distribution Practice specifications.
Mark welcomes any cold storage needs within the pharma and medical sector and can be contacted via email: [email protected] or at 07585 301425.
He is also happy to help with cleanroom needs if necessary.
Q. Why is it important to be a part of the Cold Chain Federation?
Given CREST’s niche of pharma and medical industries within the wider Cold Chain industry, being a part of CCF creates further opportunity to connect, collaborate, and continue shaping the industry step-by-step. Participating in the broader industry instils pride, as we are collectively contributing to developing impactful systems that support high-spec projects.
Q. What are CREST’s aspirations for the industry?
As we strive toward the Net Zero 2050 goal, utilising low-impact construction materials that offer thermal stability and reduce our environmental footprint has never been more important. The sustainable construction aspirations don’t stop there, we would love to see the design of modular cold room systems that allow scalability and future expansions, whilst providing clients with energy-efficient yet compliant insulation solutions within their builds.
