Fowler Welch & FreshLinc on MT Awards Shortlist

Cold Chain Federation member Fowler Welch has been shortlisted for the prestigious title of Haulier of the Year at the Motor Transport 2020 awards.

Fowler Welch will have to beat off two competitors – Boughey Distribution and Expect Distribution – to gain the crown.

Fowler Welch also has a chance of securing the Training award where it faces three other competitors – not in temperature control.

Cold Chain Federation member FreshLinc is in the running for the Best Use of Technology Award and also for the Operational Excellence award.

In other categories, both Cold Chain Federation members XPO Logistics and Tesco have been shortlisted for the Apprenticeship of the Year award.

Tesco is also shortlisted for the Technical Excellence award.

Cold Chain Federation member Gist has been shortlisted for the Customer Care award.

And Microlise is in the shortlist for the Innovation award.

Because of the Covid-19 situation the Motor Transport Awards has been postponed from 1 July to 27 August at Grosvenor House, London.
