Claire Chaffer, Senior Associate Director This is an introduction to recently published consultation “Climate Change Agreements: proposals for a future scheme”, published by the UK Government (BEIS). It is good news for the future of CCAs that BEIS are consulting on proposals for a future CCA scheme. The current CCA scheme ends on 31 March 2025 and BEIS are seeking views on potential reforms proposed for a future CCA scheme to follow on from the end of the current scheme. The deadline for consultation responses is 11 March 2022. The Cold Chain Federation will be drafting a consultation response on behalf of the sector. REGISTER HERE
